Frequently Asked Questions!Q: Is there a minimum stay?A: No. Q: Do we take credit cards? A: No. Q: How many cabins are there? A: One Q: How close is the nearest grocery store? A: A small grocery store is in Merlin which is 7-1/2 miles; the supermarkets are downtown which is 11 miles. Q: Are paper towels and toilet paper provided? A: Yes. Paper towels, toilet paper and soap are all provided. Q: What appliances are in the kitchen? A: Microwave, two-burner electric stove, coffee maker, toaster, electric skillet and crockpot. All cookware and utensils are provided. Q: Do we need to bring our own linens? A: All towels and linens are provided. Just bring your own food and toiletries. Q: Are there any restaurants in the area? A: There are two in Merlin (7-1/2 miles) and many in Grants Pass (11 miles). Q: What is check-in and check-out time? A: If there is nobody booked the day you are leaving there is no check out time. Stay as late as you like and arrive as early as you like. We make every effort not to book a day before or after your stay. Q: Is smoking allowed in the cabin? A: NO. No smoking is permitted in or around the cabin. There is a designated smoking area at the picnic tables on the other side of the premises where ashtrays are provided. Q: To stay at the Fishing Hideout do you have to use a guide? A: No, you do not have to use a guide. However, if you would like to, we can give you some names and telephone numbers so you can contact them directly. We do not charge you or get any portion of their fees. Q: Where can we rent a raft? A: There are several rental places close by in Merlin. Q: Are your rates different on weekends than on weekdays? A: Our rates are the same regardless of weekends, weekdays or what season it is. Q: Do you have RV parking? A: There are two RV parking areas in the shade under the trees with full hook-ups. |
